Seorang warga Amerika yang bergabung dengan kelompok Al Shabaab Somalia mengeluarkan rekaman audio yang mengejek laporan berita yang memberitakan tewasnya dirinya. Rekaman dalam bentuk nasid yang dinyanyikannya sendiri itu beredar dalam sebuah website jihad.

Omar Hammami, atau yang dikenal dengan sebutan Abu Mansur al Amriki, merilis sebuah nasid, atau lagu Islami tanpa musik, nasid tersebut dirilis oleh jaringan Al Qimmah Islamic yang disebut-sebut sebagai media propagandanya jaringan Al Shabaab yang terhubung dengan Al Qoidah.

Pada 8 Maret lalu, pemerintah Somalia memberitakan bahwa Omar Hammami tewas dalam sebuah peperangan di Mogadishu.

Dalam nasid terbaru yang dirilisnya Hammami mengejek pemerintah Somalia atas laporan kelirunya tersebut.

Nasid yang dirilis Hammami lebih bergaya RAP Amerika daripada nasid-nasid Arab yang lain. Menggunakan bahasa Inggris Hammami memuji kematian yang diperoleh melalui cara jihad, ia juga meminta dirinya sendiri bisa mati seperti para anggota senior Al Qoidah seperti Abu Musab al Zarqawi, Abu Laith al Libi, Saleh Ali Saleh Nabhan dan Maa'lam Adam al Ansari.

"Kirimi aku rudal seperti Maa'lam Adam al Ansari, dan kirimi aku beberapa ton seperti Zarqawi, dan kirimi aku drone seperti Abu Laith al Libi, dan pasukan spesial seperti Saleh Ali Nabhan," salah satu isi lirik nasid dari Hammami.

Sebelumnya, Hammami pernah merilis nasid hampir sama pada Mei 2010, ia terlihat dalam sebuah video RAP berjudul 'Pemberhentian Pertama di Addis', Hammami berharap dirinya dapat mati menjadi seorang martir.

"Tujuan pertamaku..... mati sebagai shuhada," ia mengulang-ulang lirik tersebut dalam nasidnya di bulan Mei 2010.

Hammami adalah warga negara Amerika yang kemudian masuk Islam dan berangkat ke Somalia pada tahun 2006. Di Somalia profilnya segera naik ke permukaan, ia kemudian menjadi komandan militer Al Shabaab. [muslimdaily.net]
